BAPTISM
Call the Parish Office to make arrangements. Baptisms can take place both during and outside of the Mass depending on availablity. Parents must be registered parishioners of St. John Evangelist Parish for at least three months. First-time parents need to complete a first time parent class with Fr. Michael.
EUCHARIST
Preparation for school aged children is done through the Religious Education Program. Preparation begins in first grade and continues in second grade. There is a Sacramental Prep Class offered for those older children who need to receive this Sacrament. Please contact Jeanne Bitkers for more information.
RECONCILIATION
Opportunities for Reconciliation are available the 3rd, 4th and 5th Saturday of the month at 3:00 pm, First Fridays from 6:00 - 6:45 am, and Sundays from 8:00 - 8:45 am. Reconciliation is offered in the Confessional which is located on the left side of the church while facing the altar.
CONFIRMATION
This sacrament is available after one reaches the age of 16. Preparation is done through the Religious Education Program. Preparation begins in ninth grade and continues to eleventh grade. There is a joint Confirmation with Blessed Trinity Parish. Please contact Teresa Bettag with any questions.
MARRIAGE
Arrangements are to be made by the couple at the Parish Office at least six months prior to the proposed wedding date. Contact the Parish Office to arrange a date.
ANOINTING OF THE SICK
Catholics who are hospitalized, confined to home or are in nursing homes or assisted living residences are visited and anointed on a regular basis. Parishioners who are ill or elderly may call the Parish Office at 920-452-9623 to be anointed.
